Pas anlayzes unix variant passwd files. It sorts the records, and translates various fields of the login to identify system administrators, shell type, shadowing method, shadow backup, and login count, as well as parsing the logins, allowing the user to browse through the passwd file. It also strips partially shadowed passwd files of shadowed logins, for use with a passwd cracker.

Yes, this is one of the many quick hacks I described in the xCGI documentation. It's nothing big, but can be very useful at times, as well as useless at others. Email me any bugs, feature requests, feedback, or anything else. I respond to all of my email, so you'll usually get a reply.
Also, pas needs the extension ".txt" without the quotes on the passwd file to read it. So your documents name would have to be "passwd.txt" to work with it.
